Haibao to greet visitors at Kowloon Tong exhibition

To celebrate the opening of Expo 2010 Shanghai China (Shanghai Expo), the mega event's mascot, Haibao, will pose for photos with visitors at Festival Walk in Kowloon Tong from tomorrow (April 30) to Sunday (May 2).

Haibao will be the 'special guest' at the exhibition that highlights Hong Kong's participation at Shanghai Expo, which opens on Saturday (May 1).

Visitors to the exhibition can also enter an on-site lucky draw that will give them an opportunity to win a specially designed souvenir photo with frame that echoes Hong Kong's pavilion and Urban Best Practices Area (UBPA) Exhibition.

Display panels, videos and a computer presentation will provide information about Hong Kong's participation at Shanghai Expo, which covers four areas:

* A stand-alone Hong Kong Pavilion under the theme "Hong Kong – Potential Unlimited".

* Hong Kong's UBPA Exhibition themed "Smart Card.Smart City.Smart Life".

* Hong Kong's participation in Expo Shanghai Online which will provide netizens with a realistic virtual experience of the Hong Kong Pavilion and Hong Kong's UBPA Exhibition.

* More than 55 activities including cultural performances, exhibitions and seminars during the Expo period showcasing Hong Kong's creativity and global connectivity.

The three-day exhibition at Festival Walk runs from 10am to 10pm, with the lucky draw being held continuously from 10am until 9pm each day.
